The Datastor project was a negotiated Management Contracting contract comprising 828 square metres of office space and 462 square metres of warehouse, built largely with tilt-panel cladding to the warehouse and aluminium joinery to the offices areas. Both the design and construction management were the responsibility of Kalmar Projects. The project had a tight budget and programme, both of which were successfully met. “You and your project team are to be congratulated on delivering the building on time and almost exactly on budget. This I regard as no mean feat given the current market situation – perhaps it had something to do with your innovative method of contracting the project. In addition, we have a well-finished building completed to a high standard of detail.
