Kalmar were invited by ARTNL to provide an alternative bridge solution when the conventional designs could not meet the strict budget criteria. Kalmar's innovative approach included the use of "Ductal", a super high strength concrete based material from VSL. This has allowed lighter sections to be used for the same or greater spans, and has provided a bridge within ARTNL's budget.
